SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE

This service is structured for the benefit of people so that they can corporately worship God.  We endeavour to be expansive in our worship and so there will be variety in themes and format.
·         The Lord’s Supper (Communion) will be held as part of our worship.  This is for all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord.
·         The Offering is also part of our worship.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Sunday School
For children aged from 3 years.

Crèche
During the Sunday morning service from 10:15 am there is a supervised crèche in operation for children under 3 years of age.


YOUTH MINISTRY

Youth Pastor - Phil Henderson

Girls Rally
These groups are designed for children and young people aged from 7 years.  This is held every two weeks in the evening.  It involves Bible teaching, hobbies, games and outings and allows them to form friendships and have meaningful relationships in a Christian-based environment.

Church Membership
If you would like to know more about Riverbend Bible Church or you desire to become a church member, a personal visit from an Elder can be arranged.  Please phone the office to enquire further.

Marriage & Parenting Instruction
This caters from pre-marriage counselling to enriching current marriages and the raising of children.  These six week courses are advertised when available in the weekly newsletter.

Christianity Explored
If you want to know more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian, this class is for you.

Biblical Counselling/Specific Discipling

Food & Casserole Bank
This ministry is designed to meet the particular needs of the body at Riverbend Bible Church and others who have been brought to our attention.  People donate money for the purchase of appropriate foods.

Audio Ministry
Cassette tapes and CD's of the Sunday morning teaching are available.  These may be ordered via the church office, or downloaded for free from our website.

Gracebooks NZ
Gracebooks exists to supply believers with biblically sound resources at affordable prices to equip them for the work of ministry and to encourage the body of Christ.  Their store is located on the Riverbend property.
Hours are:
     Monday to Friday:  9:15 am to 12:15 and 1:45 to 4:00 pm
     Sundays:  11:15 am to 12:45 pm
